Technical Debt

This register is for material shortcomings that are deliberately left in the current implementation. It is not a list of possible enhancements, minor cleanup, or planned product features; those belong in the backlog or the issue tracker.

For each item, record:

• the observable shortcoming and affected area
• why it remains unresolved
• operational, compatibility, or maintenance consequences
• the condition or decision that would justify resolving it
• a tracking issue when one exists

Remove entries when they are resolved or no longer accurate. There is no recorded technical debt at present.
